Methodology
Objective, Merit-based, and Reliable
The Iranian Canadians’ Contributions Project (ICCP) is a not-for-profit organization registered in Canada, the sister organization to the Iranian Americans’ Contributions Project (IACP).
ICCP’s mission is to document and highlight the professional achievements and contributions of Iranian Canadians to Canada and, by extension, the world.
Our aim is to complement the work of other Iranian Canadian organizations by providing information obtained in a systematic and objective fashion. We are apolitical and secular, having no political inclinations or religious affiliations. The ICCP is Canada’s local hub for documenting and highlighting the contributions made to Canadian society by members of Iranian descent and heritage.

Criteria
Iranian Canadians are defined as anyone of Iranian heritage residing in Canada.
We use a merit-based system to determine professional achievements and contributions made by Iranian Canadians in their respective fields. Our goal is to highlight how Iranian-Canadians are contributing not only to their profession but also to Canada as a whole, as well as across the global landscape.
Objective
Who are we looking for?
Our mission is to find Iranian-Canadians who have contributed in a meaningful way to their profession and community.
Path
First step
We search within different data bases for 120,000 unique Persian family names to find those who meet our contribution criteria.
Path
Findings
Our research results are then categorized, analyzed, and published in different forms, and mediums.
Path
Updates
We are constantly monitoring new contributions and achievements in the community and will highlight ongoing contributions as they materialize.
Output
Documentation of reliable information
Representing an up-to-date reference of Iranian-Canadians’ contributions to Canada.
