To objectively and systematically document
contributions to Canadian society from
outstanding Iranian-Canadian individuals
About Us
The Iranian Canadians’ Contributions Project (ICCP) is a not-for-profit organization registered in Canada, the sister organization to the Iranian Americans’ Contributions Project (IACP).
ICCP’s mission is to document and highlight the professional achievements and contributions of Iranian-Canadians to Canada and, by extension, the world.
Our aim is to complement the work of other Iranian Canadian organizations by providing information that is obtained in a systematic and objective fashion. We are apolitical and secular, having no political inclinations or religious affiliations. The ICCP is Canada’s local hub for documenting and highlighting the contributions made to Canadian society by its members of Iranian descent and heritage.

How We Work
Methodology
In accordance with our mission statement, we strive to highlight achievements from the Iranian Canadian community, in a systematic, objective, and fair manner. In order to provide complete transparency and accountability from our organization, we clearly outline how our data is collected and what methods are used.
Our database consists of an extensive list of first and last names that match the criteria for Iranian origin. We use these combinations of first and last names to filter publicly available databases to identify the number of Iranian Canadians by profession.
Criteria
We use a merit-based system to determine professional achievements and contributions made by Iranian-Canadians in their respective fields. Our goal is to highlight how Iranian-Canadians are contributing not only to their professions but also to Canada, as a whole, as well as across the global landscape.
Iranian-Canadians are defined as anyone of Iranian heritage residing in Canada.

Events
Covid-19
Our initial goal was to hold an introductory and potential fundraising event in May 2020, but due to COVID-19 and its repercussions, the event had to be postponed. Despite the ramifications of COVID-19, our team has continued to work to bring our ambitious project to fruition. The project’s official launch event will follow the lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions. In the meantime, the ICCP is operational and continues to move forward.
