Hassan Khosrowshahi
Hassam Khosrowshahi founded Persis Holdings Ltd. in 1981. Persis has made substantial investments in several sectors including land development, high-rise development, shopping centers, retail real estate, pharmaceutical royalties, entertainment royalties, and retail. Khosrowshahi had an estimated net worth of $1.16 billion in 2016.
Hassan was born in Tehran, Iran in 1940. He was educated in Iran and England and obtained his degree in law and economics from the University of Tehran. In 1961 he joined his family company, the Minoo Industrial Group. Hassan immigrated to Canada in 1981 and founded Inwest Investments Ltd. now part of Persis Holdings Ltd. He is the Chairman of Persis Group of Companies.
