Shane Baghai
With a prolific resumeé of projects and the development of Leaside Manor, Shane Baghai has maintained a dominant role in the development industry and has no plans to slow down.
After living in Britain for a decade, Mr. Baghai felt almost at home there. Born in Iran, his father, who owned a trucking business, sent Mr. Baghai to boarding school and university in England. A pamphlet about Canada struck a chord with Mr. Baghai and he moved to Toronto in 1973 with his wife and two children. He entered the real estate business and soon became one of Canada’s largest builders of luxury homes.
